Dear Downtown Merchants and Building Owners,
Good news! An application for our Façade Improvement Grant Program can be found here.
This program will fund up to 50% of project costs, not to exceed $10,000, for improvements made to enhance the exterior façade of a building in the historic downtown business district as defined by these boundaries: High Street (northern boundary), Water Street (western boundary), Poplar Street (southern boundary) and Mulberry Street (eastern boundary). Funds are available through December 31 of this year.
Applicants will be evaluated by the Main Street Corydon Design committee, made up of 12 community volunteers with design expertise. The two criteria for grant awards are the building’s need for improvement and the project’s adherence to Main Street’s Architectural Guidelines (available on this webpage as well).
Our Main Street Corydon design committee is eager to work with you as you plan your improvements. Please use us as a resource: we can make design and color suggestions to enhance your building or shop’s appearance.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
